The diamonds are set in 14K yellow gold, backed with sterling silver, sterling silver posts and friction backs.

Though they are diamonds, they are unfortunately not indestructible. Though they are very strong you'll want to try and prevent any hard blows to the face of the stone. You'll also want to remove your ring when swimming, or using strong chemicals.
